  • With simultaneous treatment with morphine, an increase in the concentration of gabapentin may be required. In this case, it is necessary to ensure careful observation of the patient for the development of such a symptom of central nervous system depression as drowsiness. The dose of Neurontin or morphine should be adequately reduced.

  1. I take 600 mg of Gabapentin 2-3 times a day and it works perfectly for the pain in my legs. I had lower back surgery, which left me with lingering pain in my legs. Without Gabapentin I can barely walk. Depending on my pain level during the day depends on whether I take this drug 2 or 3 times. Most days I can get away with only taking Gabapentin twice.

  2. Neurontin was prescribed for treating severe pain in the lower back and leg, as a complex combination therapy, with lumbargia and sciatica caused by protrusion of the lumbar vertebrae L4-L5. My leg hurt very much. I experienced shooting, numbness, and tingling. Neurontin reduces the conductance of muscle pain, this is an anticonvulsant for people with epilepsy. This is an antiepileptic drug. Its effectiveness is not known to me, as I took it with many other drugs during my complex therapy, I hope it contributes in relieving my pain. I’m taking two capsules, the pain is much less.
